Full text articles are included for all issues of each magazine starting from Volume 1, Issue 1 to the issue after which a rolling embargo applies. This rolling embargo refers to the lack of content between the archival (previous) and current (most recent) issues of a magazine and is defined by the publisher of the magazine. Most journals have 3-5 years of late inclusion in the JSTOR archive. Each year a rolling embargo is re-regulated on 1 January and articles are made available for a further year.
The detailed list of title contents is available to download from here.
In addition to content quality and coverage, JSTOR Essential Collection offers users all the advantages of the JSTOR platform, including searchability, access to JSTOR workspace, co-location with thousands of monographs and Open Access images, integration with discovery services, comprehensive data and usage reports, and access to the JSTOR support service.
