27th Annual Conference of the International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME)

Athens, Greece

June 25th - 28th, 2019

Athens University of Economics and Business

The International Association of Maritime Economists (IAME) was founded in 1992 and comprises individual and corporate members from all over the world. It is considered the largest and most prominent society of scholars with an interest in maritime economics, shipping finance and management, ports and maritime logistics, engineering and other maritime related fields.

The IAME Annual Conference is an important event. It contributes to the exchange of current research and information relevant to the maritime sector, as well as the valuable interaction between scholars and practitioners at a global scale. The conference is annually held in different countries or even continents, and is an excellent opportunity for local maritime related issues to be brought to the attention of the global academic and business communities. The IAME Annual Conference is an ideal occasion for delegates to self-enrich as professionals and beyond – to extend horizons, share ideas, meet new cultures and old friends. In a word, to evolve.

It is with great pleasure that the 27th Annual Conference of the International Association of Maritime Economists will be hosted by the Athens University of Economics and Business. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are looking forward to welcoming you in Athens, Greece!
