AUEB’s Department of Economics supports the organization of the 18th Conference on Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics (July 12th- 16th, 2019)
The Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business supports the organization of the 18th Conference on Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics, which will take place at Tinos from July 12 through July 16, 2019.
This summer school involves invited faculty and PhD candidates from Greece and abroad, in various areas of economic theory and econometrics. The first meeting took place in 2002 and the series has since been continued each summer.
This year the set of invited participants includes Simon Anderson (Virginia), Costis Daskalakis (MIT), John Geanakoplos (Yale), Hugo Hopenhayn (UCLA), Eugenio Miravete (Univ. of Texas at Austin), Torsten Persson (Stockholm Univ.), Peter C.B. Phillips (Yale) and Patrick Rey (Toulouse School of Economics), among several other distinguished guests. The program also includes several presentations by advanced PhD students and junior faculty.
