“Enhancing Public Financial Management and Reporting to Meet the Needs of Managers and Stakeholders”, 20-21/01/2021

The Department of Business Administration AUEB and Professor of Accounting Sandra Cohen co-organized with European Group of Public Administration Permanent Study Group XII: Public Sector Financial Management a virtual two-day Workshop during the 20^th and the 21st of January 2021. The theme of the workshop was: “Enhancing Public Financial Management and Reporting to Meet the Needs of Managers and Stakeholders”

Approximately 50 participants from Europe, Asia and Africa took part and 16 academic papers were presented and discussed by an assigned discussant. Professor Ileana Steccolini form Essex University and Ian Carruthers, Chair of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board were the key note speakers in the event.
