Dimakis Antonios is a Lecturer at the Department of Economics of the Athens University of Economics and Business. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science (University of Crete, 1996), an M.Sc. in Computer Science (University of Crete, 1999) and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (University of California at Berkeley, 2006). The title of his thesis is "Stability and Approximation of Queueing Networks".

His research interests include Queueing Theory, Applied Probability, Optimal Control of Queues and Networks, and Congestion Control Algorithms for the Internet.
