I am Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistics of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). I was born in 14/12/1965. After my first degree in Mathematics (Mathematics Department, University of Athens, 1988), I read for my M.Sc. in Applied Statistics (St. Peter's College, University of Oxford, 1989). I completed my D.Phil in Statistics in 1993 (St. Peter's College, University of Oxford). My first position was in the Department of Psychology, University of Crete (1994-1998) and from 1999 up to know in the Department of Statistics, AUEB. My research interests are in discrete and continuous multivariate longitudinal data, in latent variable modeling, in inference using composite likelihoods and the analysis of controlled clinical trials.
