Accessibility at AUEB

Within the framework of the Social Responsibility Program of Athens University of Economics and Business is included the commitment to the accessibility of our university premises without restrictions by all members of the university community. 2022 was a milestone in this effort with a series of inclusion actions. From the adoption of the Association of Parents, Guardians & Friends of Persons with Disabilities Hermis in February to the simultaneous presence of a sign language interpreter at the events of the first-year students' Welcome Week and of course the virtual walkthrough that includes special signs for the disabled. Unhindered access to the main building of AUEB by people with mobility problems is ensured by the existence of electric elevators and special ramps in its premises. The library provides inclusive access to material for the visually impaired through the AMELib platform.

Summer School Scholarships

The program is addressed to high school students (mainly 2nd and 3rd grade), whether they are attending the Greek High School or an IB program, possessing English language proficiency, who are interested in acquiring knowledge and skills related to organisations and business processes. Regardless of the field of study that a student wants to pursue (business administration and economics, polytechnic schools, law, medicine, etc.), his / her participation in the program helps to better understand the business world as well as to explore his / her potential as a future company executive or creator of a new business activity. Thus, students can understand the career prospects that are open to them in the most dynamically developing sectors of the economy, while their participation in the program also gives them a useful certificate of attendance.
