Lazaris Christos
Dr. Chris Lazaris is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Faculty at School of Business, Athens University of Economics and Business. He has been awarded a PhD by the Department of Management Science & Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business, studying the thematic areas of Omnichannel Retailing, Store Atmosphere and Consumer Behavior, following an interdisciplinary approach.
His teaching experience includes undergraduate and postgraduate courses: "Management and Information Technology", "Information Systems Management", "Customer Relationship Management", "Digital Marketing", "Electronic Commerce and Internet Applications", "Analysis & Design of Information Systems", etc.
His work appears at world-leading journals, such as the International Journal of Electronic Commerce, the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, the International Journal of Technology Marketing and the International Journal of Innovation and Technology Management, as well as in prestigious international conferences: European Marketing Academy Conference (EMAC), American Marketing Association (AMA) Conference and International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction.
He is a senior researcher of the eBusiness Research Center (ELTRUN) of AUEB and the Interactive Marketing & Electronic Services (IMES) research group, having participated in numerous EU funded R&D projects. His research interests focus on Digital/Omnichannel Retail Marketing, Consumer Behavior and Information Systems.
He holds a BSc in Physics from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and a MSc in E-Commerce (MBA equivalent) from the Athens University of Economics & Business, achieving distinctions and honors. In the past, he has worked as a Business Consultant in Retailing and Information Technology companies.
