10th Student Conference on Management Science & Technology

The annual Student Conference on Management Science and Technology has been established as a major academic event offering a great opportunity to young researchers and academics, undergraduate and postgraduate students, to meet, discuss and analyze new trends in the area of management science and technology.

This year, the 10th Student Conference on Management Science & Technology took place on 16th May at the premises of the Hellenic Management Association. The conference was organized by students of the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) under the coordination of Dr. Konstantinos Androutsopoulos (Lecturer at AUEB).

More than 350 participants attended a variety of sessions covering on-going research presented by young researchers from various Greek Universities (Athens University of Economics and Business, National Technical University of Athens, University of Aegean, University of Macedonia, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Thessaly, University of Peloponnese).

The conference sessions covered topics on Green Supply Chain Management, Transport and Logistics Optimization, Information Systems, Marketing, Internet Applications and Social Media, Human Resource Management, Business Strategy, and Business Innovation. The conference opened with a series of talks from executives from Lafarge, Unilever, Lighthouse, and AllThingsWeb, presenting best practices in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Innovation. The conference ended with talks from young entrepreneurs presenting innovative business ideas.
